What things caused a "Wow!" for you as a kid? And ten years ago? Last year?
Most, if not all, of those items no longer cause that "Wow!" for us. We tend to get bored as that "Wow!" moment becomes a normal occurence...or when we experience something bigger and better.
This translates across the board to all kinds of experiences. We experience this at Waters Edge also, and specifically on our Host Team. What we currently do to "Wow!" our guests and attendees will not work in months and years down the road...because it will become routine and normal. So we press on and stretch our creativity so that each guest experiences a "Wow!" moment from how we value their presence and welcome them into our environment.
At Waters Edge this means that we are always pressing towards excellence and sacrificing the ease that comes with "normal" for the difficulty that comes with greatness. And the sacrifice is worth every moment! For a moving reminder of why we sacrifice, take a moment and watch a video.
